Our Customer is a leading U.S. provider of rich virtualization, mobility, and cloud networking services. The Customer optimizes day-to-day operations of all-scale enterprises around the globe. For 30 years of existence, the company has grown an impressive 60,000+ pool of specialists distributed throughout the world.

Addressing their needs, the Customer launched an internal website – a centralized knowledge point consolidating the company’s service documentation and reference data, event announcements, contact base and other sales supporting information in the single workplace. In a while, it turned out the portal had an unfriendly user interface and poor content structure, which resulted in poor user adoption and overall inefficiency. Besides, the portal’s support and maintenance provided by a local hosting company was inefficient and expensive.

To fix the problem through UX and UI redesign of the portal, the company approached Iflexion.


The Customer faced three major problems with the website:

  • Lack of traffic. Designed for thousands of internal users, the portal was only visited 10-20 times a month.
  • Non-compliance with the corporate brand standards. There was no look and feel of the brand.
  • Expensive and inefficient support.

We created a user persona for each user role, analyzed their behavior on the website, and came up with optimal user scenarios for each of them. The research phase allowed us to create a design that satisfies each user and thus ensures a high adoption rate of the corporate portal.

Iflexion’s team modernized and supplemented graphic elements relying on current UX/UI design trends, such as minimalism and flat design. Focused on clarity, simplicity, and functionality of each element, the new design ensures smooth and pleasant user experience.

To adjust the solution to the corporate brand book, we updated the color scheme and ensured that typography and layout design comply with the Customer’s style guides.

Our team restructured the content layout in line with usability standards and improved the navigation on the website. Outlined, categorized and bulleted, the information got more readable and searchable.

We suggested a cost-effective collaboration model, which turned out to be remarkably cheaper and more efficient than that of the previous vendor. Within the frame of support, Iflexion implemented a plug-in for an instant presentation of the uploaded files and enhanced the access distribution module.
