The solution was developed for a North American music recording company to burst up their business, increasing sales, promote new products and attract audience worldwide. The idea of the project was to develop an interactive online system to find, listen and buy digital music, communicate, create and sort play lists, libraries and collections, vote and create hit charts etc.

Media Streaming Features
Iflexion has developed a Music Channel solution to enhance the portal with online music streaming capabilities. It allows constant streaming of the administrator-created play lists. Online music streaming is a registered users only function with the following features:
- A display with song name, artist name, album and track time left information.
- A display of the queued tracks.
- A user frame allowing to:
- Apply a track to be voted for joining a Music Channel play list
- Browse the top 15 tracks being currently voted for
- Check the voting period timing
- Vote for a candidate in the Music Channel request list
- Browse the last voting period winner
- Join the online chat room
- A section allowing to browse the video, lyrics and meta data of the track currently on air.
- An advertising frame for promotions

Technical Overview
Online Music Store is an online application built on the .NET engine. The application runs on the Windows 2003 server (IIS 6.0) using a Microsoft SQL Server 2000 database. Flash Media Server is a solution for an online media streaming feature. Our decision to choose these technologies to develop the project was based on our extended experience which proves they ensure the most efficient and stable solution.
