The idea of the solution was to build a corporate intranet portal that would provide comprehensive tools for effective information sharing within the company. This Intranet Portal offers various communication facilities for company employees and management.
The system incorporates the following sections:
Departments Sections hold various company departments’ information. The access is restricted only for department members. Also includes related news areas and document libraries.
News Section holds industry, company and departments news structured into specific areas. All news are easily updated vie a web-based administration panel.
Forum and Chat Section provides tools for employees’ communication on different topics. The forum incorporates advanced search capabilities.
Help Desk Section Integrated Help Desk system allows employees to easily and time-effectively address their problems. All request are sent to specific departments (IT, Secretary, Sales, etc.) depending on the problem reason. The system provides easy request status monitoring and notification mechanism both for request submitter and a responsible department.
Document Library provides storage place and distribution facilities for corporate documents.
